The first thing that we done was Cyanotypes. I researched some artist and an artist that I came across was Anna Atkins she really inspired me to do Cyanotypes. So I then looked at her different photos that she created and how she done them. I then experimented and tried it out for my self however we had to research how to make the cyanotype then we could develop this and make it our self. I then took examples and evaluated them this would make me understand what could be improved and what the photographer has done to make her images turn out like this. This would help me when doing more experiment.
We then moved on to photograms, this was very complicated at first but then became easy. I started of by getting inspirations, I came across a guy called Man Ray he was a famous for doing photos.
I then discovered pinhole photography, this looked very interesting. I started of by researching and understanding what pinhole photography was this would start of my knowledge so i can start experimenting. I started to get inspirations from pinterest. When i was getting inspirations i came across some very good photographers. i came across Steven pippin.i learnt that he particualy uses objects such as bath tubs.I liked his washing machine photos they look interesting so i wanted to get another photographer just to see the difference on how they both take photos. Another photographer that i got inspiration from was Nancy she captured images different to Steven hers was more based around one object and one theme by sitting at the table as you can see movement in the image which makes the image more interesting.
Another project that i moved on to was mobile photography this is something that i found interesting as it is something we do every day so it would be more easy. So i discovered a photographer Misho Baranovic. he inspired many people to show you dont have to have fancy camera you can take a good image by just with a mobile phone. Most of his images are based on day to day life situations and his images are just taken when he sees them. To be more inspired i decided to look at most of his images to see what he was done. But we then went to the tate museum while taking images on our mobile phones or an ipod. We then came across some photographers who's images that i really liked the photographer that i liked the most would have been Harry Callahan as his images looked very interesting and gave me inspiration. i liked his images as one of his images was of a busy street over lapped by another image, this looked good and interesting to look at. He most likely photoshop his images to get it like that. Another photographer that i came across was William his images that he took was very bright and colourful where as Harry his images was more black and white. I liked one of William images that he took as it didnt have to much going on but had bright colours and had really nice setting. I then got inspired to take images of london of what i see and what i found interesting the aim was to take images of real life situations and what happens day to day life living in london. I took images of people i see on the train reading a newspaper people walking, people talking. This was just basic day to day life things people would do. I then moved onto the rule of thirds. At first this looked easy and it was very easy cause all you had to do is use a grid to help guid you to take a photo. So i took images of my friends using the grid layout to help frame more of the photo and to make things i wanted to make in focus. I then moved on to diagonals this makes the image more dramatic.
