Everybody Street illuminates the lives and work of New York’s iconic street photographers and the incomparable city that has inspired them for decades. The documentary pays tribute to the spirit of street photography through a cinematic exploration of New York City, and captures the visceral rush, singular perseverance and at times immediate danger customary to these artists. Covering nine decades of street photography, “Everybody Street” explores the careers and influences of many notable photographers––a number of whom have never been documented, featuring: Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Jill Freedman, Bruce Gilden, Joel Meyerowitz, Rebecca Lepkoff, Mary Ellen Mark, Jeff Mermelstein, Clayton Patterson, Ricky Powell, Jamel Shabazz, Martha Cooper, and Boogie, with historians Max Kozloff and Luc Sante."

What is Street Photography?
Street photography is taking pictures of strangers in public places with out consent.
Street photographers take pictures of everything they see, everyday life, exploring the new generation.
It is a very hard thing to do as you can get beaten up as your taking pictures wit out consent but everytime you get hurt it makes you stronger and makes you want to do it more.

My Task Given.
The task that was given was to be independent when taking pictures within our school. Being independent was very anxious and scary at first but after taking pictures with consent you become more aware of the surroundings and then after getting used to it after a while you become more confident with in the society around you. Our task was to go into peoples classes and capturing the moment of what day to day school life is. When your first taking the pictures you never know what they are going to look like as its going to be a quick capture to capture that moment , you wont have time to check the pictures you will be capturing things you might not ever capture again. Taking pictures of the classes and teachers in our school makes us realise what they do and how people are really feeling when at school and with the society around each one another. But its all about taking risks, them risks could be worth it as you might not be able to be in that situation again. "The deeper you go the better pictures you get". There are many risks involved in taking pictures in public but in my own opinion i prefer to take pictures in public to get the wider range of how life is on the streets and to explore what many people might not be able to explore in and around the streets.

My picture
This image is my favourite as its showing how day to day life is in school and how emotions come involved e.g; happy being with friends. This image was a quick shot of in the moment i had no time to think if its going to look like what it looks like in real life, i didn't have time to capture another image or think of the position of the image. This image is of six form girls hugging having a laugh showing how they enjoy school. There is not much negative space within this picture as there is people in the back ground but your attention draws to the middle.
